The Demarest Middle School houses students in Fifth through Eighth grade.

Dear Middle School Parents,

Beginning with the third marking period report card, Demarest Middle School will no longer be printing report cards and interim reports to be mailed home. Instead, parents will have access to their child’s reports via the internet, through our student information management system. User names and passwords were emailed to all families on April 1, 2010. If you did not receive access information, or inadvertently deleted it, you must contact Victoria Zimmerman, District Technology Coordinator, at demarestreporting@nvnet.org as soon as possible.

While no report card will be mailed, parents may elect to come to the main office of the middle school and obtain a hard copy of the reports.

New immunization legal requirements were adopted by the NJ Department of Health in December, 2007.  These requirements were put into effect in September 2008. Parents will be REQUIRED to provide proof that their child has met the following immunization requirements:

Children born on or after January, 1997 and entering grade 6 must receive the below immunizations:

Tdap booster prior to entry into sixth grade.  (not less than five (5) years from last tetanus booster).

Meningococcal – ALL children prior to entry into grade six (6) or on 11th birthday.

 Proof of immunization MUST be turned into the nurse PRIOR to the first day of school in September, 2009.
