Welcome to the Norwood Public School District! We believe, as Winston Churchill said that: "We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give." Being an educator is truly a "calling." Our goals are to protect your child's safety and the preciousness of childhood, to keep abreast of the latest research in order to provide a world class education to Norwood's children, and to foster a genuine learning community for our staff, the students and their families. Within this framework, we also need to prepare your child to deal with high stakes testing by our state Department of Education. Our curriculum is fully aligned with the Core Curriculum Standards (see our description via the "Curriculum" button) and the state assessments.
