Once you have submitted your online application, please contact Melissa Gonzalez at 201-768-2200 ext 12212 to discuss the required next steps to be considered for BOE approval.

All substitutes must also have a completed criminal history review.  The instructions can be found below.

Once you have been fingerprinted, please check the following link for your approved criminal history review results:
* https://homeroom5.doe.state.nj.us/chrs18/?app-emp-history
(please note it normally takes between 2-4 weeks for the results to be posted)

If you need to obtain a substitute certificate, the instructions can be found below.
    * Applicant Procedures for Sub Credential.pdf
* You must pay the $125 fee electronically and email the receipt to

* Once the receipt is sent, along with the transcripts and CHR results,
 we will apply for your substitute certificate.
