Northern Valley Regional High School at Old Tappan

Northern Valley Regional High School at Old Tappan is proud of Mr. Antonio Marino, advisor and the NVOT DECA Club students who excelled at the state competition in Atlantic City during the week of February 26, 2018. Twenty three (23) students had qualified for the state competition, and nine (9) made it to the finalist round: Sean Conmy, Lauren DeGennaro, Kyle Hayden, Chris Bazela-special recognition for their presentations; Hayley Martin, Ben Putzer and Anika Russak-recognized for reaching certification level as "guest service professional; Dana Schoolsky, Ryan Choi, Ally Lee and Vivian Lee, recognition for their Advertising Campaign, Dante Furletti and Jules Ramil recognition for their Start Up Business Plan and Sofia Brockman who was crowned the State Champion in the Apparel and Accessories Category. These 7 students have qualified to compete in the International Career Development Conference in April in Atlanta. In addition, junior Dana Schoolsky was elected NJ DECA STATE PRESIDENT.  She will be a leader for the entire NJ DECA delegation next year.
