At the DECA International Career Development Conference, Jonah Wagner took first overall in his competitive event, Personal Financial Literacy. Jonah has been to ICDC all three years of his high school career, last year he was top 10, and this year his hard work has truly paid off by earning first overall. NVD Japanese and Culinary classes visited Mitsuwa Marketplace, the largest Japanese supermarket on the coast. They participated in a treasure hunt, sampled Japanese cuisine, and asked questions in Japanese to Books Kinokuniya, Little Japan USA, and Daiso shop owners. #NVDpride

The Bergen County Zoo partnership with Mr. Paris' NVD Japanese classes culminated with students going on a hunt to find the animal labels/QR codes that they translated into Japanese. The class also saw the endangered Red Wolf, a dancing porcupine and rode the train! #NVDpride
